Hi there, it's time for the 9th Annual Rocky Mountain Cup spring hockey tournament.   If you are tired of the same old same old city tournaments, mismatched divisions, mismatched games and the boring same old same old spring tournaments then please read on.We offer a four-day, 6-8 team tournament in Jasper AB, with a small town old school hockey feel.

Our tournament offers your team 5 guaranteed games with 20-minute stop time periods and a competitive division, as each team is handpicked to ensure entertaining and challenging games. Our round robin games must have a winner therefore tied games play sudden death till we have a winner!!!!! We have a full playoff round and a consolation round offering competitive, edge of your seat hockey, right to the very last game. Last year 3 gold medal games went to double and triple overtimes. As well, we work with the Jasper Minor Hockey Association, who provides top level referees for every game. And we cannot forget to mention Shirley's Place, one of the top concessions anywhere, with homemade soup, baking etc.    

Tournament format is as follows there will be a 3-game round robin, after which teams will be ranked 1-8 with teams 1-4 being a AAA division and teams 5-8 being an AA division. Each division will play a playoff and championship round. This is how we can ensure an exciting finish to the weekend and every team has something legitimately to play for. We all know there is nothing worse than being out of It by Saturday morning.

Another added feature is the Saturday evening skills competition, again we want every player to be a participant in at least one event.

We also have tournament rates from our sponsoring hotels these hotels must be used. We also get  tournament discounts from several businesses in the town of Jasper. This is the tournament of choice for the spring teams in Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia as well as the U.S.A. This season are set to welcome teams from the Czech Republic and Italy.

 All of this and an amazing opportunity to play this great game of hockey in one of the most picturesque places in Western Canada. Nestled in the heart of Canada's largest Rocky Mountain Park, the town of Jasper offers visitors unparalleled access to some of the most breathtaking and pristine wilderness and mountainous areas. 

Tournament entry fee is 23000$ including tax, a 1000$ deposit is required to hold your spot and selected teams will be notified by January of 202.0 This deposit is non-refundable. If your team finds itself in a position it must pull out the tournament committee will review. Also, if your team is not selected the deposit will be refunded.
